  • Using a sharp knife, cut in rectangles or diamond shapes and bake for 50 minutes until golden brown
  • Meanwhile, prepare honey sauce by simmering water and sugar in pan.
  • Add honey and vanilla to sugar syrup and simmer for 20 minutes
  • Spoon honey mixture over baked phyllo and let cool.

I just love the indulgence of sipping tea and eating scones on a warm spring morning – usually while flipping through my favorite Jane Austen book.  This spring-inspired honey scone is lightly sweet and buttery and kissed with local honey.  Enjoy anytime you want to escape to your happy place.

What you need:

Spring is coming to Camp 4 s..l..o..w..l..y.

Usually this time of year is all abuzz with activity.  You have pollinators of all sorts taking to the air in order to gathers natures bounty.  But this year, buy viagra cialis things are pretty quiet.

And then there is the beloved honey bee.  Unfortunately, this is also something that eerily silent.  My first hive, Queen Annabelle’s colony, did not survive the winter.  So like many beekeepers, I will start again with a new package.
